Friends & Families Test June Posted or Updated on 22 Nov 2023

In June 2023, 83.61% of patients responding stated that our service had been very good or good and there were many complimentary comments made about service in general and/or individual clinicians or staff members. Thank you.

Responding to some of the less satisfied comments:

  • There is no truth in a rumour that Shorne Surgery is being sold off to developers! We have no idea where this has come from , but it is not going to happen!
  • Patient advised "unable to get an appointment, so sent to A & E". This is not the case - all requests go through clinical triage, as per the details on the website - if the patient was sent to A & E, then in the opinion of the Clinician who examined the request, A&E was the appropriate service to deal with that clinical request. We never send patients to A&E because we can't offer an appointment.
