Internet outage resolved

Please accept our apologies for any disruption this morning, from around 1030 until approximately midday.
A power surge knocked out all of our internet services - the drive by the NHS to digital services means that all our computer systems and telephone systems are linked into the internet - which meant transferring the telephone lines to another site where there are fewer staff to answer them and difficulties for everyone working without records etc.
The internet service was restored after about an hour and normal working has resumed since.
But please accept our apologies if you had a longer wait than usual or were unable to get through or were otherwise inconvenienced by the issue which was entirely beyond our control.
