New System 1st July

After listening to patient feedback, we are pleased to be introducing Anima, our new on line triage system that replaces eConsult, from 8am on Tuesday 1st July 2025. This change is part of our commitment to improving the way patients access appointments and other healthcare services.
Anima seamlessly and confidentially integrates with your medical record bringing improvements to how you request appointments and how our clinicians assess your condition. It allows the team to continue to improve access times by helping us to direct you to the most appropriate care for your medical needs. This ensures that we make the most of our limited resources in most safe and efficient way. All appointments will continue to be offered according to clinical urgency and need – connecting patients efficiently to the right person for the right service.
If you are unable to access the service on line, for example;
- You do not have access to the internet, or struggle using it,
- If you have a language barrier,
- If you have a disability,
- If you are neurodivergent
Then please call your usual surgery on 01474 247003 or 01322 402210 where one of our trained telephonists will assist you.
Please note, whilst we will endeavour to make Anima available for submitting requests for assistance as long as possible, you may find it closed if the number of submissions by patients exceeds the cap we have in place to safely manage the workload. Therefore you may have to submit your health concern the following working day. If your health concern is urgent, please consider using the NHS 111 service, or in an emergency dial 999 or attend A & E. Anima will not be available on weekends, bank holidays or when the practice is closed for staff training.
